What We Believe

The Faith
Once Delivered.

Biblical simplicity over institutional complexity.

We seek to follow the faith once delivered to the saints. With humility and joy, we return to the Scriptures, believing that God has spoken and that obedience to His Word leads to life.

We desire to believe and obey the words of Jesus and His apostles, testing all things by the Scriptures.

These are the convictions we hold—not as gatekeepers of fellowship, but as those who have found life in returning to the ancient paths.

We confess one God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth. He alone is the one true God. From Him are all things, and to Him belong all glory.

Deut 6:4; Isa 44:6; 45:5–6; Mark 12:29–30; John 17:3; 1 Cor 8:6; Eph 4:6; 1 Tim 2:5; Mal 2:10

We confess Jesus of Nazareth as the Messiah, the Son of God.

He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He proclaimed the Kingdom of God, lived in obedience to the Father, died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and was raised by God from the dead.

God exalted Him to His right hand and made Him both Lord and Messiah. He is the one mediator between God and humanity and the appointed judge of the living and the dead.

Through Him we receive forgiveness, reconciliation, and the hope of eternal life.

Isa 7:14; Luke 1:35; Matt 1:21; Acts 2:22–36; 10:42; 13:38–39; Rom 1:3–4; Phil 2:9–11; 1 Tim 2:5; Heb 4:15; 9:15; 1 Pet 3:18

We confess the Holy Spirit as the Spirit of God—His living presence and power, the breath by which He gives life and the word by which He accomplishes His purposes, at work in creation and in His people.

By His Spirit, God gives life, dwells with His people, convicts of sin, grants new birth, distributes gifts, and empowers obedience and witness.

The Spirit proceeds from the Father, is given through His Son, and forms believers into the likeness of Christ.

Gen 1:2; Ps 104:30; Job 33:4; Isa 11:2; Joel 2:28–29; Luke 1:35; 4:18; John 14:26; 15:26; 20:22; Acts 1:8; 2:17–18; Rom 8:11, 14–16; 1 Cor 2:10–12; 12:4–11; 2 Cor 3:17–18; Gal 5:22–23; Eph 1:17

We confess that all Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, correction, and training in righteousness.

The Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are our trustworthy guide for salvation, faith, and daily life.

Ps 119:105, 130; Isa 55:10–11; John 10:35; Acts 17:11; 2 Tim 3:16–17; 2 Pet 1:20–21; Heb 4:12

We proclaim the good news of the Kingdom of God: that Jesus is the Messiah, that He died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that God raised Him from the dead, and that He will return to reign until every enemy is put under His feet.

All who repent and believe this gospel receive forgiveness and the promise of life in the coming age.

Mark 1:14–15; Luke 4:43; Acts 8:12; 28:23, 30–31; Rom 1:16–17; 1 Cor 15:1–4, 24–28

Salvation is the gracious gift of God, received through faith. True faith produces obedience and endures. We rely on God’s grace as we continue in Christ.

Rom 6:23; Eph 2:8–9; Titus 3:5–7; James 2:17, 26; Heb 3:14; 6:4–6; 10:26–27; Col 1:21–23; Matt 24:13; Phil 2:12–13

We look for the resurrection of the dead at Christ’s return.

Those who belong to Him will be raised to immortal life. The wicked will face the second death. Christ will reign until all things are subjected to Him, and then He will hand the Kingdom to the Father, that God may be all in all.

Death itself will be destroyed.

Ps 6:5; Eccl 9:5, 10; Dan 12:2; John 5:28–29; 6:39–40; 11:24; Rom 6:9; 1 Cor 15:20–28, 42–54; Phil 3:20–21; 1 Thess 4:13–18; 2 Tim 1:10; Rev 20:6, 14–15; 21:1–4

We confess the Church as the Body of Christ—a Spirit-formed community devoted to the apostles’ teaching, fellowship, the breaking of bread, and prayer.

Christ alone is the head of the Church. Every believer is called to serve and to build up the body in love.

Matt 16:18; Acts 2:42–47; Rom 12:4–8; 1 Cor 12:12–27; Eph 1:22–23; 4:11–16; Col 1:18; Heb 10:24–25; 1 Pet 2:5, 9–10

The Hope of His Appearing

We live in joyful anticipation of the return of Jesus the Messiah.

Until He comes, we labor faithfully, love boldly, and endure in hope as citizens of the Kingdom that is coming.

Acts 1:11; 3:20–21; 1 Cor 16:22; Phil 3:20; 1 Thess 1:10; 2 Tim 4:8; Titus 2:13; Heb 9:28; 2 Pet 3:13; Rev 22:20
